# KAIOS V8.2 Economy Engine

## Definition

Economy Engine is the civilization loop that converts land, residence, citizen, profession and business activity into market signals, resource flows, treasury signals and governance signals.

It is not a trading system. It is the simulation and data relationship layer that explains why a civilization grows, stalls, becomes unhealthy or becomes ready for future production modules.

## Canon Extension

```text
One Temple -> One Economy
One Economy -> Many Businesses
One Business -> Many Citizens
One Citizen -> Many Transactions
Many Transactions -> One Market
One Market -> One Civilization
```

This Canon makes economy a life layer. A temple creates an economy; economy supports many businesses; business employs citizens; citizens generate transactions; transaction density creates market; market health becomes civilization signal.

## Engine Inputs

|---|---|
| Temple | V8.1 Universe Data Layer Temple entity. |

## Civilization Growth Formula

V8.2 uses a transparent prototype formula:

```text
Civilization Growth = weighted_sum(
  Temple Activity,
  Employment,
  Production Output,
  Market Activity,
  Resource Stability,
  Bank Reserve Health,
  Citizen Reputation,
  AI Activity,
  Governance Participation
)
```

The formula is a simulation score, not financial advice, not securities analysis and not a guarantee of token value.

## Scope Boundary

| Layer | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Concept | Economic idea, relationship or future direction. |
| Prototype | Static data, examples, dashboard and runtime specification. |
| Simulation | Computed score or scenario without real custody or settlement. |
| Production | Future implemented module after review. |
| Regulated | Finance, lending, securities, payment, custody, KYC/AML, insurance or real asset transfer requiring legal authorization. |
